i own a 2000 dodge caravan?

transmission does not work
speedometer does not work
cant go over forty

three problems

first guessing your exhaust is plugged why you cant go but 40

dodges are bad about transmission problems
i have one my self and speedo wel that might be fix coul dbe a few things dash speedo cable or a sensor but id have the trans check and the exhaust
 
yep sounds like ur speed sensor took a sh!t......replace it and hopefully that fixes it.....also on dodges to reset the trans computer u disconnect neg batt cable for 8 seconds then reconnect and repeat 5-6 times.....
 
check the connection on the VSS( speed sensor) ,its on the back side of the trans. if the computer doesn't read the speed it will not shift,
