I own a 1979 Chrysler Cordoba,almost runs. Should I keep it and fix it? Or junk it?

Had it running a month ago but down again now. Need parts I can't seem to find. I love this car, it fits me to a T. Afraid I'm sinking money into a lost cause. Need a gas tank badly, can improvise pretty much all else.Is it worth as much as I've heard? 15,000-20,000 running.
 
I wouldn't put the price anywhere near that figure but,
a gas tank should be an easy find for it.

If I remember right, it probably has a leather interior, the
infamous solid state ignition system, a 318 engine..

If you really like it, keep it. When you get parts for it, just
find them using your best choices for reasonable pricing.

Riccardo Montalban would be proud......
