I never got this riddle. Can you get it?

Ok, the story is three men go into a restraunt and they order their meal. All together it cost $30. They each pay $10. The waitress takes the money but realized that she overcharged them $5. Since you can't divide 25 into 3 equally she keeps two dollars and gives the men back $1 each. So that means that each man really paid $9. And if 9+9+9= $27,plus the $2 that the waitress kept, that makes $29. what happened to the missing dollar?
 
There is no missing dollar. This is a problem of misdirection. The riddle's ath logic is wrong.Here's how the money was actually divvied up.

The problem's math is right up until the point where the men have $27.00. The thing is, though, that the $27.00 already includes the $2.00 that the waitress took ($25.00 for the bill, $2.00 for the waitress.) Since the $27 already has the waitress's money included, you don't have to add another $2.00 to it like the riddle says.

So then, if you add the $3.00 refund to the $27.00, it comes out to be $30.00, which was what the men originally paid.

If the logic of the riddle's math was right, then the question should actually have been "where did the extra two dollars come from?" because the original $30 payment turned into a $27 dollar tab, a $3 refund, and $2 tip.

28/3 = what the fuck?

okay next try-

10+10+10= 30
30- 2= 28
28- 1=27-1=26-1= 25 okay then that could also be

9+9+9= wait this is what you did in the problem..
