I need to write a metaphor poem, is this good?

[Em-z and K-T]

You and me are like a lock and a key
I am the lock, you open me
I need you to see myself, what is inside of me
You my key, there is only one of you
But me, a lock
Well, there are more then a few
You are so special and so unique
I am so boring and plain
I always wondered why you liked me
For cant you see?
I am rusted from the rain
If I was a lock and you were a key
I would not be quick to open
My insecurities you may have detected
But there are secrets deep inside me
That cannot be left unprotected.
