...painting the house.? The paint spots are on vinyl flooring and have been there a while since I've finished painting various rooms in our house. The wife wants them gone and I don't know what to use to remove them since the paint isn't fresh
 
If the paint is water base , just use warm water and a plastic scraper. Sometimes just using your finger nail works, but if you have a lot to remove, I would use a scraper. A little paint thinner would work, and then wipe the floor with water to remove the thinner. Have a nice day!
 
soak a sponge with staght amonia then set the sponge on the paint spots and after an hour it should easily come right up
 
Paint thinner perhaps. Thats what I would try. Make sure you try a small spot first just in case it ruins your floor.
