I need to remove paint from my bike?

I got a bike recently and the previous owner painted over the original color. Its a brown flat paint. Any suggestions on how to remove it without destroying the undercoat. Note This bike is a Huffy Beach Cruiser if that helps.
 
well it would be very hard to remove just the layer without harming the under layer, one thing is to go to an auto parts store and buy a spray can of aiplane stripper and some rubber gloves, make sure that fram is cool in the shade then spray it on like paint and wait a few minutes then spray it off with water hose then repeat, it will remove all the paint to the bare metal so you can start over again or just get some rustoleum hammered paint and put it over the old paint.
