I need to know if a Holley carburetor. Model 1850 - 4. 3225 would fit on a ford

what cfm? you need at least 500cfm for a sbf 700cfm too big unless you have made it go faster. btw galaxies had a 427 sohc fe bbf under bonnet as the factory drag cars. so yes you can even have a 460 if you want.
 
galaxie 500? The ford is a 1966 ford galaxie 500 the engine is a 289 my old carb has warped and so i need a new one and I know a guy thats selling a Model 1850 - 4. 3225 but I dont know if it will work on it
the new holley is a four barrel but the old one from the galaxie is a two barrel
