i need to know if a 58 gallon extra wide can have these fish?

i am going to get this tank that has 2 oscars in it they are good size like 6 in or mabey 8 but any way can i get 2 baby jackDempsey'ss or will the oscars kill them becuz they are so little?
THX also can i feed them gold fish sometimes andpelletss as well?
