I have a 1999 Honda Accord & I need a new transmission for it 
I just found out that there was a recall on 98-99 transmissions.
I just need to know if a 2000 transmission will fit my car or if there was any big changes to the transmission from 99-2001 ? other then the changes they made to fix the problem.
Ive called wreckers & they told me that it wont fit,only 98-99 will fit in my car.
But I emailed a japanese & imports place in Toronto called "Toronto JDM" & they told me that 98-2002 are all the same. The 98-99 had internal problems & were recalled for it,00-01 had been modified to fix the issues.
They told me that I should get a 2000-2001 tranny,it will work better the 98-99.
Im just scared that if I buy a 2000 tranny it may not fit & ill be stuck with it..Ive had soo many people tell me different things...I need your help!!!!! lol...
If there wasnt any big changes to the tranny or motor from 99-00 then I should be ok..
