i need to know a good knife for cooking and cut meat?

I went on homeshopping network website and ordered some wolfgang puck knifes they are the best knives i have ever owned and did not cost me an arm and leg.
 
The best is Wusthof Classic (German Quality, just as I am...haha), but it is very expensive around $150 for one or $200 for three. I have two, a gift (lucky me). It's a year now and they are still as sharp as in the beginning.

A lot of Master chefs use them.
 
Well no matter what to keep a knife sharp you must realign the blade before each use and before you store them using a sharping steel (No it doesn't actually sharpen) and you really don't sharpen knives often, however I suggest going to a professional to do so

However I would suggest Wusthof knives or Shun knives as those are the ones I use, however they are expensive, but extremely high quality

If you don't want to spend this much just shop around, look for a forged blade (Not stamped) and you want the blade to run down the lengh of the handle
