My parents health insurance is going to be ending when I turn 26 in 7 months and I need to find a health insurance company that will accept my pre-existing condition. I underwent a spinal fusion in my lower spine and I'm going to need continual pain medication for at least another year or so because the doctor hasn't even begun to lower my dosages yet and I am going to need enough time to wean myself off the medications. Are there any health insurance companies with a good plan that can save me a lot of money? My prescription costs are THROUGH THE ROOF! I can't be paying $1,200 at the pharmacy every month. I would like to find something with a prescription mail-in to a CareMark pharmacy, where I mail in my Rx to CareMark and they fill it and they ship my meds at a cheaper rate because the meds are generic.
