I have a receipt had a new motor new starter new brakes ETC done to the car i have all my receipts and i want them to have to pay me the money not only for the car cost but the money i had to pay for all of these parts, and the pay for the mechanic's labor charge on the car. my courthouse said i had to have a lawyer since it would be over 1500.00 but i want to represent myself how do i go about filing the papers??

Yes, the dealership can take THEIR OWN car back.

The guy you need to sue, is the guy who sold you the car he didn't own.

If you want someone to tell you HOW to file the papers, that someone, is called a LAWYER. If you want "do it yourself" legal stuff, then you can use small claims court, without a lawyer.

Exactly HOW to file the papers in a way you can win, depends wildly on where you live, and is pretty complicated - which is why the advice you got, to get a lawyer, was good advice.

You can file ANY papers you want. But YOU have to write them up, and pay the fee to file them. And if they're not done right, a judge will throw them out. He won't tell you how to fix it, that's not his job. It's the lawyer's job. But you want to bypass the lawyer. So, you'll have to figure it out yourself.

How to file? Just write the complaint up, and bring it down to your local civil court, and pay the clerk. That's the easy part.
