i need to buy a new flat near cambridge university?

my current flat is valued at 1 bedroom 125k i have about 25-30k to add spare. i heard the prices in cambridgeshire for flats are outrageous like 220k +. i don't want to ask my parents for any more money. im a student i want love closer to university i can't be asked to travel 45 mins everyday.

any ideas?
oh thanks i never thought of that! this is way to much work im going to ask my brother to help out my parents already do too much for me..
 
prices in the uk are rising like mad. especially london, it's outrageous. seen the prices of kensington green? rising since the day i saw them 7 years ago! i think you'd expect to find high prices like that near Cambridge Uni because all the students and quaternary workers are there and you can count on them to have big bucks. if you don't feel comfortable about asking your parents for money, i'm sure that the flat sellers will give you a loan but you have to apply for one and they need to know how much you own a month just to make sure that you can pay back. hope i helped and good luck in finding your new home! :)
