Ok I will admit it im a newb!
I want to go to a state of the arts graphic design school! Im good at creating art on the computer...got that down!

I just want ot learn photography as a back up or something to be more expanded in the school of art...you know?

So can you teach me some basic tips? Or something somebody have taught you that stayed with you? I really want to learn!

P.S i suck with my digital camera by the way, I think i have a long ways to go.....

Photography is something it takes years to become proficient at. Much like acting, it's not something that's so simple and/or lucrative as to make it a good "backup" career.

If you hope to become a proficient photographer, you should enroll in a beginning photography class, or at least do a lot of web research to get you started. Any "tips" someone could give you wouldn't help someone at your level, you just need to learn some basics. You'll need a manual SLR to start, learn it inside and out, get to the point where you are shooting on manual 100% of the time with ease, then you'll be at the point where you could benefit from someone's creative tips.

There are TONS of photography help on the net. Join some forums.
Take PLENTY of pictures, and critique them ... what you liked, and what you didnt like about them. Oh .. and learn your camera. Its your tool
