I need some more advice please/after surgery

Hey guys,

well i was hoping to write to tell yall that i had my surgery last Friday (August 1st) in Winston-Salem & everything went well.NOT SOO MUCH.I had botox injections & they dialated my throat because they said i was a perfect canidaite for this surgery.Apparently i had alot of pressure on my splinter muscle in my throat,which was causing the sensation of tightness & something stuck in my throat.WEll,its been a week today & can tell no difference at all.THe knot in my throat feels bigger & now i cant hardly eat anything.It feels like everything is getting stuck in my throat.I dont understand how that could be.I didnt have that problem before.All i had was the sensation of something in my throat & the burning.I'm so down now.After 8 months & this was my 4th procedure & still i feel bad.I had high hopes this one was going to work for me.Did anyone ever have this done & maybe it took a little more time to work.THe Dr said it could take a week or so for the botox to work.I just didnt think i would feel worse.Will I ever feel like a normal person again.HOw long does it take to heal your throat.I'm in so much pain from this all.Everyone has now told me to learn to live with this problem.ANy thoughts on this please share.Lisa

i have not had botox in my throat but in my pelvic floor muslces from Pelvic floor dysfunction and i can tell lyou that the docotrs dont no shit lol...........i was also told that i should feel better but i didnt get results for about 6 weeks and then wham i felt great............botox also makes your symptoms flare for a short time so dont worry this is normal you usally feel worse beofre better its all that poking around causing irratation to already irrated muscles
