I just took in a blind and diabetic dog. No instructions were given me, I just got some needles and insulin and was told to administer injections twice daily. Just tonight it dawned on me the needle wasn't reaching into the insulin so for the last 2 nights I have given air under her skin. I finally realized tonight and she got her insulin but she has been throwing up tonight. I am so afraid I have harmed her or worse sentenced her to death!! I fell just horrible. Any one have any knowledge about diabetic dogs? It is late at night since I work nights, 24:48 hours now.
