I need some help with subs and amps?

I was just wondering if this Hifonics amp would be okay with this Diamond Audio sub? The sub says its 500 watts RMS and the amp says its 700 watts RMS at 2 ohms which is what I'm going to run it at. Would the amp be okay if I turned the gain down to make sure it wouldnt blow the sub? If anyone knows about this stuff, help is appreciated. Here are the links to the sub and amp:

just keep the gain on the amp down the amp wount put out tru 700rms power i would put the gain just a lil below halfway and the freq. on like90 you will be just fine
