I need some help with my Photography business name?

I've been trying to find a name to call my photography business and I have a few that I like. Some of these are names already used by someone else while some are ideas that I thought up. I would like every ones opinion on which is best. I would also be open to other suggestions.

Some background info on the business:
I live and work in Myrtle Beach so the quite obvious thing is to have a beachy name. Everyone here has that though. Also I like the idea of going by a pen name like writers used to do to hide their identity. I like the idea of an elegant sounding name that would reflect an elegant product that is ahead of its competition.

Belle Marguerita (Beautiful Daisy in French)
Daisy Mai
Shutterbug
thanks ya'll, I appreciate criticism, no matter how harsh it may be (*death*) My point here is to simply see what people do and do not look for in a business name. I believe that WOULD show signs of business knowledge. You have to know what people like in order to get their business. Ya'll helped me realize my real name will be the best option, and I'll stick with that. You've all helped alot.

Quite frankly, if you can't come up with and decide on a name on your own, you have no shot in Hell of being a successful business owner. If you knew anything about Business, you'd know that's pretty much as basic as business knowledge as it gets.


You are asking strangers on the internet to help you come up with the basic foundation of your business and the first impression EVERY client will get from you -- the name -- and you still think you can please a client by yourself?


You have a lot to learn.


That is the best advice I can give you, but I will also tell you that based on name alone, I would probably not give a business with any name you listed a second look if I were in need of a photographer for some event. The best photographers in my area all have names in the format of "(Their Name) Photography." Hint hint.

Sometimes the best business name is your own name with photography slapped at the end of it or a short nick name with photography at the end.
