Well instead of changing your wiring and do the other complicated stuff you could first check the output of the alternator. The cars electronics run on 12v DC as a source of power through the battery and when your car is on the alternator should put out about 14v DC + - .40 v and take all load of your battery. if your alternator is not putting out that kind of voltage while your car in on then you can increase the output of the alternator via its V regulator as per the recommended settings of the battery manf , Finally you need to have at lease a 5 farad cap for your amp as it is a good quality amp with real nos and will sap power on bass notes.
