I was born with a medical condition involving the esophagus. My esophagus was connected to my lungs and when I was a day old, my surgeon fixed the problem. But, just lately I wanted to know more of my condition and I came across Esophageal Atresia (tube leads throat to stomach) and Tracheosophageal Fistula (tube leads to throat, windpipe and lungs). But, I'm confused because they pretty much mean the same thing. My question is: Is my condition more of a Esophageal Atresia?
For some reason I think more that I have the Tracheosophageal Fistula but I'd like a few more answers on this.
