I need some help. I really want to get into photography, but have no Idea

where to start, Any tips or tricks? I have a Canon FTb QL from the '70's with a 3 fixed lenses; 50mm, 100mm and 35mm. I also have an external flash for the camera. I understand all the basic rules such as the rule of thirds in composition. Aperture and exposure I understand somewhat, but i have absolutely no idea where to start. I've read the manual to the camera and know it's basic functions. I just don't know what settings are good for what light, how much of it is estimation, and what is fact. Any help would be awesome
 
I'm impressed. You seem to have a real handle on things. That's a very nice kit BTW.

Just start running some film through it and see what happens.

Concentrate on subjects that interest you. The 100mm would be fun for during portraits. The 35mm will work for landscapes.
