I was given around 20 questions for homework on Physics, the problem is that it was right before going into a new term and I only have around 3 lessons on it. We were not taught this stuff and I can't find anything at all that will help me in my book, if you know much about Physics could you please give me the answer to these two questions and explain, or just explain to me please? I really don't want just the answer, I'm more interested in the explanation. Here are the two questions;
^ MEANS: TO THE POWER
1. Given the charge on an Electron is 1.6x10^-19, which of the following amounts of charge are possible?
a) 6.4x10^-19
b) 5.6x10^-19
c) 6.0x10^-6
I have a feeling that A and C are right, mainly because 1.6 x 4 = 6.4, but I can't really be sure about any of this as I am just starting to learn.
2. a) Calculate the electric field intensity of x at a distance of 5cm from a charge of 6x10^-7.
b) For this electric field, what would be the potential voltage of air 15cm away?
I'm not trying to cheat at all, as I have a lot more questions to go, but I don't know where to start with these. Thanks in advance.
