I need some cities in Germany where vampires were believed to live in for my book?

I'm writing a book about werewolves and vampires based in Southern Germany, and I want it to be somewhat historically accurate. Are there any towns/cities where vampires were believed to live?
 
So you're the one who took the username I wanted! Grrrr... Haha, only kidding. I assume you're a Twilight fan, as am I. It must go with the name Courtney. :)

Anyways, Heidelberg is a city in Germany that holds a celebration every February called "Ball der Vampires" ("Ball of the Vampires") in honour of Fasching (which is like the German version of Carnival or Mardi Gras). I don't know if there's a history of vampires, but a celebration like that could be a basis for a story and you could make up the history!
