I am a 26 year old mother of 4, so needless to say, I have a rather hectic schedule. I am unable to work, due to the high costs of childcare, so I thought this would be a great time to go back to school. I would prefer to go to the County College in my area, because it is cheaper, and the options of certain professions are higher than most online colleges. I am not really sure about about which profession to major in, so I was wanting to take my basics. Anyway since I am unable to attend college on campus I am interested in Online Colleges. I have looked at 100's of colleges. I have read good reviews and bad reviews. I know you will only get out, as much as you put in. I am most definitely up for the challenge. I am just really scared about online colleges. I attended University of Phoenix for a year before I withdrew. That place was horrible. It was great in the beginning, but then every 8 weeks they were increasing my tuition fee. When I asked why, they literally had no explanation. UoP has also been using the same material for years, so therefore when you have a essay to write, with a limited amount of subjects to choose from, your paper comes back plagiarized every time. I have never cheated a day in my life. It was just a bad experience for me. Now I am scared that it will be the same at a different school.
So I am asking if anybody has attended a decent online college, for which they were able to benefit from? Any advise would be greatly appreciated, and Thank You in advance...
