I need opinions on Cadillac CTS!!!?

I am in the process of looking for a vehicle that provides a smooth ride for my newborn. I dont like SUV's and I cant really afford a new truck. I have been looking at the Cadillac CTS...used of course...and I have fallen in love! HOWEVER, I have talked to some people that say they always break down and are super expensive to fix. And then Ive talked to other people who have driven them all thier life and never had a problem and love them. Im confused. I know any car can break down, but can anyone share thier experience with me about em. Are they good cars and am I making a good choice?
 
very expensive to fix outside of warranty, when it comes to used i would stay away from domestic, they drive great brand new but once you get some km's on them they dont drive all that great anymore. Its a fact that domestics need repairs, once its outside of warranty stay away. From personal experience with the cts at the end of the 3 year lease it was PUTTING at the end, there was one time we manually had to pushed it down the road, it was top of the line as well with xeon lights and chrome rims. Be safe grab a new g6, or if you want quality go for an accord or camry.
