I need new people to talk to..?

I've tried Facebook.... scrolling up and down a monotonous homepage in hopes of friend requests gets old, really fast.... .__.
Tumblr.... No idea how to use it. Besides, my blogs are usually far too long and repetitive for practically anyone to take the least bit of interest in ... O,o
Youtube.... completely dead... I've made only like 2 videos but I overran the audio with music. It's gone from interesting to dominated by Fred... -__-
Formspring.... Usually everybody shits on my life Quite enlightening actually,
Chat Roulette.... There's a lot of ugly penis on that ;-;
Skype.... Freezes like c r a z y!
Yahoo Answers... a bunch of curious adults with cartoon defaults..
Twitter.... Ew, I don't even have an account on that... it seems gay as hell...
Any bright ideas!?
Perhaps I should've added:
I'm not some sort of antisocial weirdo who doesn't get out of the house, dumbshits.
I just tend to get aggravated with the ignorance of the real world...
Considering the internet has nearly dominated face-to-face socialism; I think online is a more reasonable, simpler way to meet new people.
