actually the two banRAB collaborated on that album, not split the tracks up
but the first song on that is soooo killer! the feedback wailing in the second half of that song is awesome
i saw mnemic open for meshuggah a few years ago... they kind of seem like "meshuggah lite." they sound like they want to be progressive, but they also want to make money
originality is a currency far more valuable than moeny.plus, if you're doing something no one else is, like meshuggah does, you'll be remembered long after your opening band. that's the difference between artists and plain old musicians.
Originality is great but it does take money to keep things going if you want more people to hear your music. Just as long as you don't compromise your sound or originality.
Personally I'd rather listen to Mnemic than Meshuggah.
