I need lightweight phone?

I am looking for a lightweight phone to use on weekends when I dont want to carry my brick PDA around. Any advice would be appreciated.

I did a bit of research and came up with a few phones: pantech c300, samsung t-619 and samsung ultra 5.9 (cant afford this one).

Any other suggestions? Im looking for lighter than 3 oz's. Thanks in advance.

the Motorola Razors are nice and small. I have a Verizon model that I use.

I would have to agree with the RAZR. Great weekend only phone, still has Bluetooth. Not sure if the other two you mentioned do, I know the Pantech does not.

Is 850MHz essential for you? If not, try the Samsung P300 or P310. It slips into a front pocket and becomes innocuous. Your 6230 will feel like a brick by comparison.

I should also point out that the VK Mobile VK2020 is the same size as the Samsung P300, but much lighter and with rounded corners. On some networks, it appears to have very low outgoing audio, which is why I sent mine back. Some find that it works just fine though, and you might be able to get a used one cheaply.

I would advise against getting a non 850 phone, depending on your location. Your call quality/coverage could suffer.

That samsung p310 is outstading on size. The VK seems pretty cool as well. Now does the 850 make a huge difference in California USA?
