I need info on France, French Cooking, and Eggplant?

I need info on France, French Cooking, and Eggplants, So I am doing this small report on the 3 things i just named, and I just need to know where I can some info on all that?....like for example I need to know what region of France uses eggplants mostly, and a little bit about this area? and I know what I am cooking so I just need a little bit of info, if anyone has info, or knows a website where I can go and get this info, please please help?
 
Eggplants are used a lot in Provencal cooking (in Provence). If you're looking for recipes check aubergine as well as eggplant. Just Google for more information on Provence.
