I'm young and have a day off of work on Friday, so I was thinking of traveling the 1 hour into the city to do some exploring. I'll probably take a train in, but I wouldn't be opposed to driving. I want to spend as little money as possible. That means no tours.
I'd like to start at the Met to see a certain exhibit but then I'm open to going anywhere else. I'd love some ideas for cool and unique hidden gems to check out.
