i need help writing an apology letter?

I need to apologize to my boyfriends ex because when they broke up she kept bugging him so i was mean and rude to her. I'd like to say sorry because I hardly know her but I just don't know how to put it. I can't say it to her face because she goes to a different University. How it all started ... my current bf was dating her and wanted to break up with her cause he liked me and it was a disaster and I basically helped him break up with her and I was a b****. So I'd really like to send her an apology email, cause I hardly even knew her and do feel bad for making her life miserable
 
Hmm, she might not like hearing from you, but you never know. Just be genuine and tell her you're sorry for being rude to her and you wanted to send her an email to let her know that you feel bad for how you acted.
