I just recently started to record high def TV with WMC in the hopes that I would be able to stream it to my Xbox 360. In the past I have streamed a lot of different recordings to my Xbox 360 Via WMC but nothing as large as an HD TV show. It turns out I cant really stream it because the connection to my router is not strong enough.
On top of this, I tried to just save the show to a large flashdrive and transfer it to the 360. This didnt work either because the 360 did not recognize the flash drive. I also have a playstation 3 but that did not recognize the file, the file is a dvr-mc. The router is about two rooms away from the Xbox and moving it any closer it not a possibility right now.
I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions. I have a Netgear WGT624 V3 set to channel 8 on mode g and b. If anyone has any better recommendations for this I would appreciate it. Also, if anyone knows how to get a PS3 to play dvr-mc that would be helpful to. Basically, anything that will get this file to play on that Xbox or PS3 without moving my router to another room, directly connecting the Xbox or burning the file to a DVD. Thanks.
