I need help with the sims custom content!?

sims 2 custom content.
its all extracted, and in the downloads folder but it doesn't show up in my game
help
i have sims 2 double deluxe
where is the main menu????
help? step by step?
it says my content is enabled...
 
Try going to the sims2.com and downloading the Sims 2 content manager. tool. When you download it it is a separate icon and when you open it you can see all your content. Also, when you download it and then download something from the site it automatically puts it into your game. The program also allows you to manage your content. So for example you download or install one that makes your game glitchy. You can then just go and delete it. It will also tell you which ones might not work. It'll put a yellow triangle next to them with an ! in it. Thats what I did anyways. And sometimes you have to go into the settings of the actual game and enable custom content.
