i have sims life stories, but its exactly the same methods as sims 2.
i want to build stairs leading DOWN into the lounge,
but i dont know how to do it without the top being a decking/foundation.
and it works fine i put the stairs into the bottom but.
i cant close off the room that the stairs are leading down to.
it says that flooring is there or something
and the flooring is coming from the deck but ive got no flooring there, its just those square outlines but im not using them.
i want to close off the room without it being decked otherwise it wont have the 'going down into the room'
effect right?
is there another way you can do it.
or is it just impossible?
this is pc btw umm.

basically the room i want the lounge to be
is just normal flooring.
but the place where the stairs start is decking
so is that impossible to do?
or how can you make the decking in the lower room, lower
