We have to choose a topic and prepare a report on it and an external examiner will come for the viva. Out professor told us that the printed report should be at least 40-50 pages (A4). I have thought of a few topics but none of them are perfect in my opinion. I thought of fractals but couldn't find their any application in Electronics & Communication Engineering that I can explain easily. Fuzzy logic was too difficult and I couldn't get enough material for either subjects. Can anyone help me where can I find enough easily understandable material on either of them? or suggest some other topic.
I tried fractal antennas but the material I got was not what I can explain flawlessly to someone because it is insufficient and difficult to understand.. And the report doesn't matter much in our college because the examiner comes for a few hours and cant see everyones. The viva matters so I should understand the topic thoroughly for which I am not getting good material.

Try googling Fractal Antennas.

Fuzzy to difficult? Too little material? If you're doing a 40 to 50 page report, don't expect this to be as easy as junior high.

You might find presenting the 6 Keplerian Elements a little easier - although writing up 40 pages might need to involve GPS.

Yeah, GPS is good. The Keplerian Elements describe where objects like satellites and space stations are, or will be. Spend 10 pages on that, then spend the rest taking about how GPS or ISS use those elements.
