I need help with my usb flash drive?

My P.C's word program is Sun Microsystems. I was told that it is compatible with Microsoft Word. I saved a file from my P.C. onto a Team 1 GB thumb drive. When I plug the drive into a P.C. with Microsoft Word all it shows is garbled nonsense.

What can I do?
 
Try and press the windows button and the "e" on the keyboard. See if it comes up and click on it......It is pretty easy from there if it works
