J James B Guest Apr 28, 2009 #1 ok i have a 97 dakota. you can not use a 96 trans or even a 98 trans so it have to be 97 dakota trans is there any other 1997 dodge truck 2wd auto 5speed o/d trans that will work for me its a v6 3.9er thanks
