I need help with my Brochure?

I need to make a brochure in school about my fantasy country and i need ideas for some weird made up foods and funny and cool places to stay for the night,for example a floating house going up and down a river with mermaids in it thanks please answere
 
How about a country where there are lots of edible things, like a chocolate river and candy floss clouds, rocky road ice-cream mountains and sugar roses :)
