I am having problems with my expedition, the engine light is been on, so I took it to the mechanic and he said that it was the spark plugs and the fuel filter, so he changed them, but my expedition kept shaking so now I don't know what's wrong with it. It shakes really bad and it smells like burned oil, does anyone know what might be wrong? I really need to fix it

It's probably leaking oil on the spark plug boots and filling the spark plug holes. Check for oil leaking out of the valve cover gaskets, and pooling up near the coils and fuel injectors. If you see any traces of oil unscrew the bolt that holds each ignition coil, and lift the coil and silicone boot out of the hole to see if it's oil soaked. If there's oil on them, you need to replace the silicone boot, and repair the oil leak. The ignition coils commonly need replacement on those vehicles too.
