I need help with flash player 7 , I want to make a short cartoon?

I heard flash 7 lets me make cartoons so i downloaded it, now it has so many files in it i dont know what to click on to install, do you?

and if this program's too old to use, do you know any other animation software out there?

make sure its cheap or free.
