Ok firstly hi everyone I'm new to this place and I hope to be able to get help with this problem I've been having. So basically I'm 14 this year, and since the start of this year, or maybe earlier I'm not sure, during random periods of the day I will have this irritation in my left lung or throat of some sort, causing me to cough uncontrollably and somehow I can't seem to like "cough" whatever is stuck in there out.
I've been to a doctor and he has diagonosed it as a large amount of phlegm stuck in my throat to left lung area or something like that and prescribed some sort of medicine for me. After I've almost finished the medicine and still experience the same thing I went for a X-Ray to determine what actually is wrong with me. Yet again I received the same news that it was just phlegm stuck in my lung, and was given a dose of antibiotics and cough mixture.
EDIT: The problem has stopped for the past week so I think things should be ok now. Thanks for the help anyway
Well I didn't really follow the prescription of the antibiotics accurately because of my schedule, but I did manage to finish the bottle a few days after it was meant to finish. The cough was gone for a while, and maybe I experienced it once in a while, but recently its kind of returned, and when it starts to happen I can't even talk or say anything, and it would seem weird for me to be choking uncontrollably in a conversation or examinations hall, so I have no choice but to hold it in.
I'm starting to wonder whether the X-Ray was accurate or not, or maybe its just the weather of some sort, or maybe its just me being paranoid, but does anyone else out there know whats going on or have exprienced it before? Please reply ASAP thanks.
