I need help with AMP installation!! Please...?

I am self installing a new system on my 1999 Cavalier and I have everything together i.e. headunit works, the Sub works, and the Amp works fine, except I CANNOT find a good ground wire for the Amp. I have tried the trunk screws as a ground, the actual trunk latch, and all of the other bare metal surfaces in the area. I NEED to know where or what I can do to properly find a usable ground for the amp. Please help!
I've done that as well with the rear lights, by removing the trunk 'interior' and using the brake and turn signal attachments. But still doesn't work. The red light will come on but not enough to where the green will.
 
when i installed my amp i used one of the bolts that hold the rear lights in to the car and it works fine
