I need help with a tech project!!?

K,so i have to do a tech project on how to do something and i decided to make ice cream. My mom bought ice cream and now the teacher says i have to really make ice cream. thats not gonna happen and my mom said the project has to be nearly free cuz she spent a bunch of money on the ice cream and now she cant return it. i have a big class and if i make ice cream i have to give samples. does anyone have ideas of something to do for it? it has to be pretty much free!!!!
