My friend gave me this riddle that makes no sense whatsoever. I am given three variables (a,b,c), a and b determine c. My friend told me that the c variable can stand for anything within a restriction. The riddle is apparently finding the restrictions and relations between a b and c.
He gave me some examples,
If A is 1 and B is 3 then C is 5
If A is a and B is b then C is d
if A is VCR and B is DVD then C is blu-ray
if A is jeans and B is hoodie then C is shoes.
I don't see any relation between those things. Can anyone find the restriction?
More examples
if A is Gundam and B is Tranformer then C is Metal
if A is a cardboard box and B is a plastic bottle then C is a sheet of paper
(so im guessing that its not the order in which these things come in)
