I need help wiring a mono amp with two terminals?

How do I wire two 4 ohm dvc subs to a Hifonics BXi 1608D amp.. It's an mono amp with two terminals - - + + (like for two speakers) I know how to wire two 4 ohm dvc subs to make 1 ohm final to connect to one terminal. The two terminals on the mono amp confuses me. I want to use the 1 ohm capability of the amp. Any help?
 
The amp is wired together internally....If you wire both coils from each sub together,it will give you 2 ohms...Now take these two wires and hook it up to each side,this will give you the 1 ohm load you need....The reason for 2 terminals if for easier connections only...two avoid only one wire.
