My fiance and I have been together for 3 years and opened a business together. We filled out the proper paperwork for our DBA and we paid the fees. When it was time to get a tax id number, he only gave the irs his info and not mine. I'm not sure if this is wrong. Also, the bank accounts for the business are in his name. Do I have to be on all of the accounts technically since i'm part-owner? I also was wondering how it works when we try to get a commercial credit card. does he put his social or my social for the application?
