So my brother and i are tring to remember a cartoon that we watched. It pretty much started out as a kid who gets a video game early and when he plays it he gets sucked into it. And the "monsters" are in like stone disks and to bring them to live you put them on these alters scattered across the world. It was around in the late 90's and was also made into a video game for the playstation. I am pretty sure tat it was from japon.
