I NEED HELP PLEASE on car audio?

ok i just got a us amps xt4000d and evry time i turn it up it goes to protetive mode i checked the ground and remote i am running of a factory stereo with a converter to rca thats not the only thing my other sony amp do the same i turn up and the amp goes red i thalt it might be my radio so i hook a Hu to battery charger and does the same thing what do i do am i missing something
 
ok well there are a couple things that may be causing this first is that you may have the wrong size wire running from the battery to the amp and the other thing is that your amp be supplying enough juice to the subs that it might be too much juice so the amp shuts down to keep from over loading the subs and blowing them goo luck
 
maybe your power wire isnt thick enough, which is causing it to clip out...go to a thicker gauge power cable and see if that works.
