I need help on the game Kingdom of hearts chain of memories on gameboy advance.?

I am in Monstro, and l passed the part after finding piniochio(sorry if spelled wrong) and now l have to help him and his father find a way out of monstro and ldk what to do l have the card but each time l go to the door it wont work so l think l may have to do something else before that but ldk what to do and lm lost and confused can someone please help me please.
