1.) g(x)= 2x^2 -6x +2

g(x)' >0
i got the answer for this one by finding the first derivative and setting it to zero which gave me
x= 3/2 a< x< infinity (a =3/2)

but i dont know how to get g(x)' < 0???!?!?!?!?!
i know that the signs just changed but i dont know what to do

2.) f(x)= 6x^3 + 36x^2 + 40x - 55
the graph is concave up and i got a < x < infinity with a= -2

now when the function is concave down i dont know what to do again?!?!?!

3.) I dont know how to find the local min and mac also. I get the part of finding the first derivative but what do you do after that

4.) and how to you solve an equation with a square

for example x^2 + 3x -10 = 0
